Although i know cotton yarn can be tricky to dye with certain types of dyes i just got some professional acid dyes and also ordered some special ingredient that will hopefully help to dye the cotton yarn not just the wool yarn. Fiber reactive dyes have two parts the colored section and the reactive section. Rit dye will work the best. The best way to dye cotton is to use a fiber reactive dye such as procion.

Choose fabric dye meant for cotton fabric. But neither is a dye fixative for already dyed fabric or.
